Here is Jo's terrific powerpoint of opening sequences, where she identifies genre, forms and conventions and reflects on those aspects she might like to replicate in her own production. To add a powerpoint, you simply add a file using the icon that creates a link to authorstream, having already saved the powerpoint and copied and pasted the embed option using authorstream.

Blogs are upside down!
Always start reading a blog at the bottom, each new post is added at the top so in effect, the blog is upside down and starts with the most recent post. To make sense of it, you have to start by scrolling down to the first title.
Editing posts and receiving feedback
To edit posts, go to the customise tab on the toolbar, then click on Posting and Edit posts, this will list the posts you have already created so that you can edit, view or delete them.
This way if you make a mistake or wish to create an amendment, you can erase your previous post and just leave the perfect version on the blog.
Each post will attract a comment from me, this will inform you if you have any targets or amendments and will also provide feedback. See the comment on the previous post to get the idea.

Research into similar media texts
Please start to add your research into opening sequences when you have identified key texts to analyse and studied the forms, conventions and generic styles in detail and received your work back from me. K. Mills
